This 18th century estate is a very special place, the last Eden, where time stops and our senses open to the world. This fine estate is one of the largest in the Sierra Morena and combines the beauty of the past with all modern conveniences. It was an old Visigoth settlement where some remains still exist, the last refuge of monks, robbers and Civil War scenario.

There is more than 1,500 m2 of buildings. El Cortijo is an example of traditional Andalusian architecture with high vaulted ceilings. The ground floor has foyer, kitchen, dining room with fireplace, living room with fireplace, office, further room, toilet and staircase to the first floor. Upstairs is the master bedroom with open fireplace, three double bedrooms, four more bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The Hacienda is a relic of the past with classic architecture, and vaulted ceilings, outside are two large courtyards, fountains, the mill, stables, warehouse, water troughs and livestock buildings.

The estate is set in 203.44 hectares which is undulating with no steep slopes. The farm is organic certified by the ASAC and has 13,629 olives predominantly high yielding Picual variety. There are strawberry, holly, chestnut, walnut, almond etc. Many animal species live here including the Imperial and as 55 hectares of scrub where you will find Kermes oak in abundance, rock rose, oaks etc, with species such as Royal eagle, vulture, owls, mojinos, partridges, hares, rabbits, deer and wild boar.

The property has a high abundance of water from natural springs with crystal clear water, several streams for human consumption and agriculture use. Two large orchards and good pasture very suitable for breeding cattle, horses, sheep and pigs.
 
Home farmhouse is a two-storey farmhouse attached to the main property. The ground floor has foyer, kitchen, living room with fireplace, three bedrooms, full bathroom and stairs to the upper floor. This floor is open plan and was formerly the place where sausages and hams were smoked and dried.
 
The ancient mill is a single rectangular building with beautiful Gothic arch, the ancient mill stones, grinding wheel and the original large vessels in the ground where the oil was decanted and kept.

Two farmhouses are to accommodate seasonal workers. One has four bedrooms the other has three, both have lounge, bathroom and fireplace.

On the right side is an old block, now converted into the cellar, with stairs to the upper floor and a barn. On the left side are 8 boxes for horses(one lambing box), and a store or tack room. Cellar. On the back wall are covered porches that serve to shelter cars and other machinery.

The courtyard has rose garden and fruit trees including pomegranate, orange, lemon, apricot, quince, liriodendron, also yuccas, cypress, spruce, etc..
 
Other buildings include wood store, pigsty, room for solar panels, building for the generator which has an output of 4.8 KW and sunlight batteries that supply electricity through solar light panels with power exceeding 3.5 Kw. Boiler room where there is the boiler for hot water and oil/and or wood. Old orchard with fruit trees now used as stables. Large wood oven, two wood sheds, large hen houses, and pigsties.

The whole hacienda is surrounded by manicured landscaping with automatic irrigation and lawn sprinkler irrigation. It also has a huge riding arena that also serves as a golf training field.
 
The chapel is consecrated and dedicated to San Antonio. It has the old belfry and bell and beautiful mosaic inscription relating to the activity central to this farm.

The farmhouses are equipped with electricity, running water hot/cold, heating, telephone and fax.

Machinery includes tractor, vibrating clip, pen, hammer grinder, Cuba, bulldozer, trailers, hand vibrators, saws, desbrozadoras, feeders, fences, all in perfect condition.

The property is perfect for a Rural Hotel, livestock farm, horse breeding etc, it would also make a superb corporate venue or the most amazing private estate.
